subject requested.

Aug. 15. West Indies-Currency. Question considered by Privy Council. Meantime Mint will supply persons with British silver coin on receiving an equivalent and expenses for coinage.

Sept. 15. West Indies.-Currency. Explains evil of system in force. States that Order in Council of 23 March 1825 has been revoked, and that new Order declares that 4s. 2d. and 64s. of British silver shall be a legal ten- der for one dollar and one doubloon re- spectively.

Sept. 15. West Indies.-Encloses Orders above reforred to of 7 and 14 September, and Proclama- tion of 14 September, and explains their effect.

Sept. 15. West Indies.-Encloses two Minutes drawn up for the assistance of Colonial Governments in the question.
